Buying Your First DSLR Camera | Buyers Guide

How to Buy Your First DSLR Camera for Photography and Video
Choosing your first DSLR Camera can be hard if you don’t know what to look for and why you need certain features.

If you are buying a DSLR camera for video then you need to also consider audio and make sure it has an audio input jack so you can have a decent microphone. You will also need to consider if it has in camera stabilization and a high ISO range for shooting in low light situations, since noise and grain can impact a video much more than a photo.

If you are buying a DSLR for photography then buying a crop sensor vs full frame becomes an issue. If you are shooting high end work or sports, I would suggest a full frame camera. If you are shooting more casually then a crop sensor camera is fine and more affordable.

How are you doing Roberto? I'm trying to start a youtube channel. I'm going for maybe some Vlogs but mostly focused on making actual skits and mini films. What DSLR camera would you recommend for that?

I have 2 gopros, 1 that I bought and 1 that I won in a competition and I am getting ready to start recording for my YouTube channel. My question is, are gopros a good camera for a vlog type of recording or do I need you to have a dslr?

Am wanting to do cooking videos for Youtube Maybe even some PC builds. I bought a sony HDR-CX440 and totally hate the quality. I've got 2,000 back in taxes and wanna do a good set-up with that budget, and if can spend less great.
Currently am looking at the Canon 70d and T6i film maker kits. On Amazon. Point of my post is, if you had 2,000 max what all would you purchase for doing videos? Affiliate links are welcome long as for Amazon. Thanks for any help

You are AWESOME!!!!! Just now subscribed to your channel. I am interested in making videos for YouTube where I would be making miniature food items out of polymer clay. Which of the $500 range of cameras do you think would be good for this? I just loved your video – it was SO CLEAR and I love how you spoke so precisely and didn't drag out your comments forever like some YouTubers do. Keep up the EXCELLENT work!
